LECTURES & CALENDAR 2008-2009We are still offering our lectures on demand for universities, business, festivals & special events. Being open to the world, finding your place in society, the environment, the importance of our choices, here and abroad, and to go beyond our limits are some of the subjects we explore in our lecture ASIEMUT. In Canada, we presented ASIEMUT in more than 200 schools (30 000 teenagers) and with Les Grands Explorateurs Tour in 2007. ASIEMUT is also part of the Banff Mountain Film World Tour since 2007. In 2009, we will be part of the Exploration du Monde Tour in Belgium. ***The first idea with the ASIEMUT PROJECT was to share, with the image, our passion for life and in a way, our vision of life... At the beginning, we did not know if we would be able to realize our first film... But we promess ourself to do lectures once we would be back from our expedition. Sharing is probably the best way to keep pedaling... For us, it is like if the adventure continues everyday... One stroke of a pedal after another! Mélanie will be there to present her film, exchange and answer questions. FEBRUARY 2008 MARCH 20087th to the 9th of march 2008 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Festival Planète Couleur at St-Étienne, near Lyon in France. JUNE 200829th of june 2008 - We are presenting our film ASIEMUT (and some anecdotes...) at the Harbour Front Center in Toronto to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Banff Center. JULY 200812 of july 2008 - We are presenting our film ASIEMUT (and some anecdotes...) at the Maine Bike Rally in Fryeburg, Maine, USA.18th of july 2008 - We are presenting our film ASIEMUT in cine-conference with the Grands Explorateurs at St-Adèle, Québec. 25th of july to the 3rd of august 2008 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Cervino CineMountain Film Festival in Italy. This festival presents all the winning mountain & adventure films of 2007-2008. SEPTEMBER 200830th of September 2008 - We are presenting our film ASIEMUT (and some anecdotes...) at the Cegep de Limoilou, in Québec at 19h00pm. OCTOBER 2008 NOVEMBER 200813th to 15th of november 2008 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Adventure Film Festival of Larochelle in France. Melanie & Olivier will be there to present their film, exchange and answer questions. FROM JANUARY TO MARCH 2009Olivier and Mélanie will be presenting their lecture ASIEMUT with Exploration du Monde Tour in Belgium. CALENDAR AUTUMN 2007SEPTEMBER 20077th of september 2007 - We are presenting our film ASIEMUT (and some anecdotes...) at the University of Anchorage in Alaska. 21-22-23rd of september 2007 - Mélanie will be presenting her film ASIEMUT at the Festival Aventures du Bout du Monde in Paris (french). 27 & 29 of september 2007 - Mélanie & Olivier will be giving 2 lectures presenting their film ASIEMUT at the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas. OCTOBRE 20077th of october 2007 - Mélanie & Olivier present their cine-conference ASIEMUT: "8000 km by bike from Mongolia to Kolkota" in Montreal (Canada) at the Pierre-Mercure Theatre (french). 17th to the 21th of october 2007 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the International Mountain Film of Tegernsee in Germany. 19th to the 21st of october 2007 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival in Scotland.23rd of october 2007 - Mélanie & Olivier present their cine-conference ASIEMUT: "8000 km by bike from Mongolia to Kolkota" at the "Théâtre du Vieux-Terre-Bonne", in Terre-Bonne (Québec, Canada). 24th of october to the 28th of october 2007 - Mélanie will be part of the Jury at the 6th Internation Adventure Film Festival of Montreal (FIFAM). DVDs of the film ASIEMUT and her book CADENCE will be on sale at the festival.31st of october to the 7th of november 2007 - Olivier will be part of the Adventure Film Maker Seminar & the Banff Mountain Film Festival. ASIEMUT DVDs will be on sale on the site of the Festival. NOVEMBRE 20072nd to the 4th of november 2007 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Williamstown Mountain Film Festival. 8th to the 11h of november 2007 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Festival EXPLORIMAGES in Nice, France (french). 15th to the 18h of november 2007 - Melanie & Olivier will present a lecture about their 8000 km cycling expedition through Asia & their film ASIEMUT at the Explorer Film Festival in Lodz, in Poland. 28th to the 2nd of december 2007 - Olivier will be part of the jury at the International Mountain Film Festival of Autrans in France. Melanie will also be present with DVD's of the film ASIEMUT and her book CADENCE. DECEMBER 2007From the 4th of december to the 9th of december 2007 - The film ASIEMUT will be screen at the Danish Adventure Film Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark.
